Fixed Bias is simply a negative voltage applied to the input grid of the power tube to negatively bias the grid to the cathode. If you have a negative voltage supply like -40vdc, you can use a 20K pot as a voltage control to the grid. If you have one pot feeding two tubes or one pot feeding each tube, it works the same way. In a push pull pair it is best to have one pot controlling the negative voltage to both tubes, it makes adjustments easier. You can have a second pot setting balance. Just plow through the schematic archives to see examples. Duncan has boatloads or find your favorite source.
