Hi,
I have a Fisher 500C missing all the 12AX7's. It uses 9 of them.
This Russian tube is being sold on the "Bay" in 10 lot quantities:
Mark 6N2P -EV
It is listed as a 12AX7 but has this note in the description:
"They have the same pinout only the filament is 6.3V (they draw about 0.34A filament current) - easy to rewire"
My question is: Is this tube a "drop in" replacement for the original tubes? Also, is or isn't a 12AX7? Thanks, Victor9
