Hi.(1) you suggested #12 hook-up wire, which handles up to 23A (UL/CSA)
for HV tube amp to "keep the signal intact dynamically."(2) you also suggested 1mA "static draw" "does the best with about a
TEN amp wire", which would be 1000x. So you mean we need a #16 same type of hook-up wire.So what is your two statements is correct ????
By the same token, for speaker cable which handle 1.25Arms signal current from a small tube amp of say, 10W/8R load, the speaker cable size would have to be able to handle 1,000x1.25A=1,250A dynamic swing per your second suggestion.
To handle 1,250A current surge, you may need to acquire a 1,111MCM power cable (some 1.80" diameter big suckers !!).
Does this make sense? Or you just don't give a damn whoever read your idea in "high short term peak instantaneus transients".
You say "MOST amp designers totally get wrong", you must be "totally" correct. So my post below was also "totally" erroneous, right?
BTW, why we should use a smaller size "by-pass" wire?

PS: do you really know what is a "aircraft wire" ?????
