Transformer question (5V primary tap?)

Hi
I found some old transformer which har the following primary winding interface:
5V o--o
0V o--o
100V o--o
110V o--o
120V o--o
SER/PAR
As beeing from EU (240Vac) IÂ´ll use the 0V and 120V tap and put a jumper between 0V and 120V for seriell primary winding.
But, whats the 5V tap used for ?
Note, I have not drawn the Secondary windings.
