I know the consensus, but not necessarily universal opinion, is that bypassing PS caps, especially electrolytic caps, with better quality lesser value caps is good, and that bypassing coupling and output caps is bad because of time smear and the like(both broad generalizations). What about bypassing cathode bypass caps? If one has a Solen metalized poly 47uF cap, is there any benefit from paralleling a .47uF better cap, say maybe a PIO? I know, just try it and listen, but I thought I would ask if others think there is any value in trying.
