Depends on how you run it. I get superb results using it as a medium swing (10-20V) voltage amplifier, but I actually bothered to play with operating points and take a ton of spectra. And I also tested a very wide range of versions, ranging from the Genelex B739 to the GE6201 to the modern JJ oddballs.

That said, the Tek versions are nothing special. Not the worst (6201 wins that one), just middle-of-the-pack.
