Just added a switch on the B+ ground of my JELab 300B so that I can delay applying the B+ after the filaments are turned on. I was hoping that will prolong the 300B's service life, however every time I turn the B+ on, the 5U4GB flashes (not a BIG flash though). Is this normal? Will it affect the 5U4GB's lifespan? Thanks for anyones advice..
