Basically,IMHO single ended has more even harmonic and less odd. PP cancels even harmonic and pretty much leaves the odd alone. I've even seen a PP amp turn a triangle wave into a perfect sine wave. I've seen a PP amp correct a grossly distorted input sine wave back to a perfect sine wave at it's output. PP amps do electronic house cleaning. I've seen a single ended cascode generate more even than odd. And it also has a lot to do with feedback and it's application and how it's applied, whether none, locally or globally. Ray Hughes
