EL34 pentodes B+=526 vdc,is it normal?

Hi
These are the measures taken frommy EL34 amp running in ultralinear today.

V+ =526V
Va =519V
Vg2 =523V
Vg1 =-44V
Ik = +/- 46mA
Vk =940mV fixed bias

Now, I have read that the EL34 G2 max rating is 500vdc.
Also the plate dissipation is 23.82 Watts which is 95.3 % . Now if most of the operation is Class AB, the tubes are not in that values all the time. So, the real plate dissipation value will be less, is correct?
Some advice not go further than 75% of maximum Plate dissipation, which is 18.75 Watts.
What would be the sound like if I reduce the plate dissipation to 62% 15.5 Watts?
The tubes are running at 46mA now, very hot. What will be the advantage of running them lower at 17mA or something near that value?
Thanks
Alan
