the 3K impedance of the OPT's, while good for around 3W for the 2A3,
will only work optimally (for low distortion according to RCA
specs for the 45) when operating with about 180-190 volts plate to
cathode voltage, and around 31-32 volts bias voltage, and this should
net only around <1-watt out. With 4.6-5K OPT's you'd would get closer to the full 2-watts out. Just something to consider.-T.M.
