Glad you found it! My integrated Heathkit also uses this basic RCA tube Manual RIAA stage (I haven't tried the batteries, but could easily mount them top of chassis); seeing Joeseph's recomendation per this circut convinced me it was OK enough. I always observed that this circut fed via a Shure cartridge was in far wider general public use than any other combo (excluding xtal carts in mass-market consoles & portables) during the decade of 60's record medium, and that fact surely was not lost on the engineers that mastered the records for public consumption. Or so I fantasize.
