The min and max currents are determined by plotting the load line on the family of plate curves provided by the tube manufacture. Once this is done you fine the points were the load line intersects the plate curves at the maximum grid swing (typically zero bias) and the minimum grid swing. The process requires the calculation of some intermediate data. The easiest way to get started is to obtain a copy of an old tube manual such as the RCA RC-22 or RC-30. I have a scanned copy and will post the pertinent pages on my web page for you in day or two when it gets set up. I will post the URL for it here when it is ready.
