I'd go for the most complete circuit i.e. one that includes the PSU design as well. This because phono stages are super sensitive to the PSU design and they go together as a whole.

So to match your parts, I'd go for the Cornet Octal or the ordinary one. I've tried something similar of my own design and the SL7 makes a good front end valve IF treated right.

After that, things are not so easy and clear cut for all sorts of reasons. The FVP5 is another complete design that will have its "own sound".

Then there's the designs using high gm valves like the Pimm, Strain, Loesch etc. Try the Cornet before going down this route as these are harder to get right - kinda the direction I've headed in after years of practice.
