I agree with Scott about the choke I/P filter. With 5R4 rectification, the B+ will be somewhere around 450 V. Forward drop in 5R4s is large, 67 V. @ 250 mA. If a higher B+ is what you want, use 5AR4 rectifiers. You can't use 5U4s or GZ37s, as they draw 3 A. from the 5 V. winding.
