Any benefit to lower than maximum watt output for tubes?

Hi - I have been looking into several topology designs and one that has caught my eye is using a DHT to drive a DHT, in this case an 845:845 at only around 550v B+ for 6 watts or so. Does anyone see an advantage to this rather than using the tube to its full output capability? Any reason not to? Any response is appreciated. . .
