Hi.This is a specialty forum for tube DIY. Now we are suddenly talking out of the wacks speakers, CD tweaking, etc.
I don't mind surfing on sorta kinda technically unrelated gossips somewhere else, but not in this specialty forum, buds.
Whoever Dr. is he not my concern, but when he claims tweaking the surface of a CD could improving its sound, I want to read some scientific reasoning or technical backup on it. Otherwise I'll dismiss such claim as sales pitch to woo consumers to buy the CD treatmemt kits or an example of "wrong belief structure"
Like a vendor claims the $500 wooden knob it supplies can improve the sound of a volume pot bigtime. If its claim that the heavy weight of the knob could smooth out the peaky resonance of the wiper shaft can be demonstrated with a resonance spectrum anaylsis, then I'll pursue on this "concept" without being "clueless & frightened" as May Bell said.
