Is there a doc on the Web indicating an 8K OPT impedance for the Eico? None of the HF20 schematics I've come across have a spec. Also, I see that the Eico schematic shows +440V applied to the plate. That's very different than the tube manual. I think I might expect an 8K OPT to deliver 20W at that plate voltage. It doesn't really seem to jive with the +360V/9K combination though. Do you know of other examples like this? If Eico did it, there must have been others. Perhaps someone else used 8-9K with a lower plate voltage. I'm just trying to get a handle on this because these values fit a certain combination of parts that I have available. It's not worth the trouble for 15W though; I'd be better off to use 6V6s or 6BQ5s in that case.
