Last time I posted an answer about transformers I got flamed because I don't share currently fashionable opinions. Makes me a little shy about this. I have tried the Hashimoto MC stepup trannies myself and like them very much. Much better harmonic integrity and low level detail than the Lundahls. I haven't tried the outputs myself but have a friend that used the ?60 watt 5K outputs in a PP 2A3 amp and liked them very much. I have heard that amp and was impressed. The Lundahl's strike me as OK but the Hashimotos are very good.Charlie
