Bus grounding in a stereo amplifier: OK to separate channels?

I know that there are many, many...many posts regarding grounding methods but I have a particular question that I would like some advice on.

Is it OK to end a sentence with a preposition during informal correspondence?

OK - here's the real issue:

I'm building a PP stereo amp. I plan to use a 14 ga. solid copper wire as a bus that runs from system ground to (isolated) input ground. All ground connections on the bus will be arranged in an order determined by current.
My notion is to run a separate bus for each channel, each of which would be connected to the same chassis-earthed system ground lug but connect to its respective input ground terminal. My reasoning behind this is to limit channel interaction as much as possible. Are there any electrical issue that would make this a poor or suprefluous idea?

Thanks again for your assistance.

Ha det bra!
