If a stage has a plate load resistor, that resistor not only sets the nominal plate voltage, but "eats" some of the amplified signal, since the varying voltage across it causes it to conduct a varying current. An infinite inductance (even with a controlled resistance) would allow through DC but would reject all AC, making the stage more efficient and, it truns out, more linear. If you check the archives i did the math that shows this a couple of months ago search for algebra, I think). Inductances aren't infinite, so you'd pick an inductance that has nearly infinite reactance at the lowest frequency of interest (say 5 or 10 Hz). The other three items I'd be guessing on.
