The Axia Master design quality is far bellow Sony and Tdk.
First this XD Master photo is impressive look a bit like the Silver looking Tdk Ma-xg from 1986;

Then when I look at this picture of SD master (similar to Xd and sd?)
It look like a cheap Silver painting that peel off after use (no good):

Now If anyone could post a Big Close up of the Xd and SD Tape
i would apreciate it.
But my opinion is that Fuji Never made Expensive quality metal tapes
as Sony, Tdk, Maxell and Denon did.
I would rather compare the Axia XD/SD/HD tapes with Teac open reel casette
as for the quality of the material.
Now i wouldnt mind buying 1 or 2 of those Axia XD/HD tapes
The most expensive tape i got from Fuji is the Fuji JP metal (1992) and the Fuji Z metal (1994/1996)
