Calibrating a Nak 580

Can someone tell me how to calibrate the recording level and bias fr a Nakamichi 580 cassette deck. If possible I would also like to make necessary adjustments to the record head azimuth. I have just obtained a used 580 and would like to get the best out of it. I am not an expert at servicing and repairing audio equipment.
