Yes, that is true. They also won't sell belts on the 3034 but they admit that they still have them ( although I do not know whether they still have the original or just generic replacement ).

At the same time anybody knows whether there is another reliable source that can restore the Tandberg cassette decks other than SOUNDSMTIH? Thanks.
