For reference here is specs from my best deck- the Aiwa XK-S9000 Dolby S deck produced in 1991-92.

Power use: 30 watts.
Frequency response: Metal tape 13hz-24khz +-3db at -20db level
8hz-27khz -10db at -20db level
20hz-16khz +-3db at 0db level
Chrome tape 13hz-22khz +-3db at -20db level
20hz-14khz +-3db at 0db level
Normal tape 13hz-21khz +-3db at -20db level
20hz-12khz +-3db at 0db level
Signal to noise: Dolby Off 65db
Dolby S 87db or 84db peak level
Wow and Flutter: 0.018 WRMS
