I take what I am willing to pay and subtract the shipping charge and that is what I bid.
For example on most guaranteed pre-recorded 7 Â½ IPS Reel to Reel tapes I am willing to pay $10.00.
So if the price of shipping is $2.00, my max bid is $8.00.
If shipping is $5.00, my max bid is $5.00.
If shipping is $10.00, I cannot bid, as even one cent will be over my maximum.
And if the seller does not list the shipping / handling fee I do not bid!
