Victor, I no longer listen to tapes. I still have a decent cassette deck but one of the belts needs replacing and that is a bit complicated on my model.
Still I read posts here (yours in particular) out of general interest and your mono comments follow that. I still enjoy some mono original issue LPs and can't understand the extreme opinions some hobbyists hold. They refuse to listen to anything in mono. Maybe that is a function of whether one listens for musical enjoyment or sound effects. ;^)
