I have an Akai M8 which is very similar to an Akai M7. In mine the tube linup for the left channel is: 6267 12AX7 6BQ5 6X4 and 1 other tube (can't remember off the top of my head what it is). For the right channel: 6267 12AX7 6BQ5 6X4. Yes a lot of parts will need to be replaced namely all resistors and capacitors (mostly for reliability and good recording and playback). The mechanics should be fine. I would not replace the 6267 unless you are absolutely sure they are bad as these tubes run about $30.00 - $40.00 each. I would also suggest finding a service manual for your reel to reel as it will make servicing a lot easier.
