Yeah, it's Christmas. I'm sure most inmates are aware of my dislike for the more modern front loading decks with the over engineered transports and all that plastic stuff. I really love those old 1 belt driven top loaders, especially Nak 600s. Well, I just won an ebay for what looks like a nice Nak 500, $40.00, I'm in hog heaven, it doesn't take much. I took the guy up on the Sony TC177SD, $10.00, soooooey, oink, oink. Next I've got my eye on a clean Teac 450. All I know is when I get done aligning all these decks I will have burnt out my test equipment and worn out my alignment tapes. I'll keep you informed.
