Hi, beken:I have one of these Nak Cassette 2 decks around the house. In fact, I just used mine to transfer a rare tape featuring Timothy Leary to cd, using my Alesis Masterlink.
The Cassette 2 deck must have sold new without a remote control included in the price. Nearly all Nak decks came this way.
Otherwise, it is a decent sounding machine, not quite up to the build quality of the older Nak decks, but not that bad, overall.
Mine showed up for $18 in a local Goodwill Store in Oakland, CA two years ago. I could not resist!
Don't use the bias adjust feature at all, since I only use my deck to PLAY tapes and not to RECORD any.
I use digital gear for live recording work and only the Naks (I own perhaps ten of them in all) for various transfer projects involving cassettes as the medium. I also sometimes use a Burwen wideband noise reduction device for these transfers.
Enjoy your Cassette 2 deck!
