I own a Nak & have for years (CR2A). They are well made & sound great. That said, if you can find a later Sony or Marantz machine with Dolby S, I would go for that. Most Cassette machines are going for cheap (aside from Naks), because it is a dead technology.For example I picked up a Awia ADF800, which was a nice 3 head machine in its day, for $100 Canadian (~$75US). Sounds dare close to my CR2A. So look around & don't restrict yourself to Nak tape decks.
