Dave, thank you for your detailed prep instructions. I will attempt to examine each of your areas of attention with q tip,alcohol and beer in hand this weekend. I believe alcohol is the proper cleaning fluid for these heads and would De oxit or Discwahser be OK for the rollers? I sure would like to see what a vintage recorder can do as it been 38 years since these ears have heard anything on the thibn stuff. Regards, Ron
