Why shouldn't it be possible? If I disconnect the erase head, and send it the recording signal only, it would have to rearrange the magnetic particles somehow. Perhaps it would arrange them in line with the incoming signal?Even if the erase head can't be made to work in this way, it must be possible to simply replace it with a recording head, and send that a bit of the recording signal.
Why tellin me "good bye"? Is that a polite way to say "shove it get lost out of our forum"? :)
