It is true that music recording made on a Nak is not sound as good when played in others' decks for most of the Naks that are manufacutured up to the early 80's because Nak does not use the same IEC equalization curve like other deck vendors use.

The DRAGON has the playback head azimuth adjustment control. REVOX does not has this feature. Whether this contributes to the sound quality of a piece of music is hard to tell. I have both the REVOX B215 and DRAGON and they sound similar to my ears( I might have bad ears though ).
