Hi out there,

i am still looking forward to get me a Advent 201, already have transformer for 230 VAC -> 110V. Would perfectly match my AA151 and AJ32 as far as a cassette deck could do.

But I do not know if I could use it regarding the frequency of the power grid. (50 cycles in Austria).

Can the tape speed be changed by laying belts on other places or anything else? Is the drive synchronous to the power grid?

As far as I saw in the early 70´s they sold (not to many of them i guess) in Europe too.

Was this a special version, changeable, is it possible to get conversion parts, or just hands off in my case?

Greetings from vienna

Walter
