RE: Resistor noise on AUDIO applications

I have been using Vishay bulk foil now for over 10 years. Using any other resistor is a waste of time. The lower noise translates into blacker backgrounds, and more signal coming through in quiet passages. The signal to noise ratio on the device they are installed on will improve greatly.

I now usually do the entire signal path with vishays, but the biggest gain is obtained with their placement in any of the shunt or loading positions in the signal path.

You can use them on SS or tube preamps and solid state power amps. I also have used them on FM tuners and open reel tape decks, with incredible results.

happy listening.

best
