I was setting the stylus of a LOMC on a record and just grazed the edge of the record instead of the lead-in groove. There was no visible damage to the stylus, but the right channel went out. (Left played fine) So after checking everything externally, I realized that only the right channel of that particular input was dead. Moving the cables to another input brought both channels back.
Any suggestions as how to trace the source of the dead channel on that input is appreciated. (The only thing I have to test with is a DMM.)
Thanks
