I just got my DIY Pass Aleph5 amp going (toroid tranny) and have found that when my kitchen light switch is on (it is a dimmer), it causes the amp to buzz. The buzz does not come through the speakers - I think just the tranny is buzzing. The dimmer and the amp are located maybe 20 feet away and I have a power conditioner on my system AC (granted, not a high end one...). It took me a few hours to figure this out, but I have confirmed the direct relationship between the lights and the buzz. This is no ground loop issue relative to my components. Any thoughts/comments? Thanks
