I have been queried by people in regard to specific material I posted on Outside over the years, including technical information that might land me a new job. I am wondering if there is a way to retrieve old posts, by means of a search. Response is appreciated.
For what it's worth, the wiping out of Water Cooler and Outside has really discouraged me from posting here, for I've been treating these postings as public record, often referencing material posted throughout the site. I presumed this material would be around indefinitely, but now realize it can be gone in an instance. (I will be saving such postings from the remaining active boards, to alleviate the issue with those postings.)
