Did you change anything in your browser of load any new add-ons?Could you have it set to dump cookies on exit?
Also, check your profile.
I found the answer. Login and click on the Profile link at the top right corner. Then click on Manage/Change. Find the Remember my Moniker & Password: and check the box. Save the selection.
What's happening is that there is too much old code and compatibility stuff is there. However, without redoing everything and breaking other stuff, I think what's going on is that the Remember my Moniker & Password checkbox on a post of the login screen will only remember you for that session. If you have the option set in your profile, then you should get a cookie with a long expiration and it should work from day to day and session to session.
