unable to update profile

Audio Asylum feedback, support and feature wish list.

After attempting to change e-mail preference to allow ANY (for some reason, it was switched to "does not allow unsolicited"), the change failed and I received this error message:
Error Occured: Can't connect socket:Unknown error
Also, I continue to have frustrating, repeated requests to enter moniker and password before being alowed to post. This has been going on for over a year, intermittently, without relief from deleting cache, etc.
