I'm working on a major port/rewrite of the code that will allow users to upload graphics with their posts. This would solve the problem to an extent. However, I can't offer unlimited space and have to limit uploads to some reasonable amount for non-members.
With any link, to a page or graphic, it's a problem as nothing is forever except the Asylum.
