That's a fair suggestion. However, the reason that the home page links are set to the directory is that the default script checks a preference cookie and loads a view of the forum based on that preference. For example, if you're selected the Threads view as your default, you'd get that page automatically. Otherwise, without a preference, the bbs.html page is loaded. Given that issue, I suppose I could have multiple home pages and load them based on the same parameters.
