Actually, we do use a full text index combined with sql restrictions on certain data elements. Several enhancements are planned to make the search more effective and there's no doubt that Google and some others have better weighting algorythms than mysql on full text searches, but I'm not sure that we've in the position to afford to buy one of these solutions at the present time.Any idea what the costs are?
