There are two different limits: 1) Total storage, 10MB or greater depending on your member level and 2) Daily and monthly transfer limits, 500MB or whatever. The transfer limits are in place in case someone posts some pic on a mega busy site that gets 10 billion views. That could consume our resources and overwhelm our connection making it difficult for folks to use the forums.
