I'd find a Tucows reseller who will set up the domain registration to auto-renew each year and you won't have to worry about missing the renewal email.

Or you could just renew the domain for the maximum of 10 years and not worry about it for quite a while.

BTW, I'd highly recommend configuring your in-house name servers and the one at nextlevelinternet.com to NOT allow zone transfers for audioasylum.com, except with each other. You're exposing a lot of information about your network that I imagine you don't want known by the average hacker and script kiddie.
