need posting help

almost always when I post a reply, it goes directly under the topic; not at the end of the thread. ALso, I can't title my comments. once the optional link title worked, but how or why I don't know. I am using an apple computer with phone modem. What can I do? thank you in advance for whatever help you can provide. ( I can't find these answers on the site)
