The Equinox will be a definete upgrade over your NAD. The Equinox will sound more clear and dynamic than the NAD - the staging ability of the equinox will allow your speaker to dissapear better as well. Its tonal balance will also make for a good match as the Equinox strikes me as being a little on the dark side. The Arcam will be a bit to much projected in the mids (though this does come with some nice warmth). Another nice player we have here that works will with the I3 is the Rega Jupiter if you don't have the bucks for the Uquinox.
