Recomendations for Digital Front End

I am looking to spend between $2K-$3K on a new cd player and I am looking for ideas. It will be in a system with an Arcam A85 amp and Castle Stirling speakers. I thought of SimAudio, Classe, Arcam FMJ33 etc. Any ideas would be appreciated. The dealers in my immediate area are mostly all dedicated to home theater...not a priority for me.
