Downloading music

I haven't spend much time downloading music...but I decided to buy a (gasp) MP3 portable player. I decided on a unit that has a 30 gig harddrive so I can avoid actually using MP3's and put on uncompressed CD quality files. I have only looked at a few sites, but it would seem most sites only offer downloads of MP3's? Does anyone know of any sites that sell uncompressed audio? Has anyone had and luck with the SHN format of lossless compression?
