Impersonating me, claiming I was in Jail in Vancouver, B.C., and asking for money.
Grandma, being sharp as a tack at 80, immediately noticed the vocal disparity, and asked why I sounded funny. Upon being told it was results of a hangover and a night in jail, she asked for some additional information to confirm identity. Caller hung up.
However it appears they've been calling other contacts. Cops say (natch) hands are tied- Any suggestions would be appreciated. Would love to bust them.
Initially we suspect an old cellphone from my wife.
Bass is supposed to sound big. 6.5" is not a woofer size.
